Bernardo Leite is from Porto, Portugal. He is 23 years old (something like 101 in Mercury) and currently doing a Master in Informatics and Computing Engineering at Universidade do Porto.
Background
Today, Bernardo is teaching Programming and Robotics to children and young people from his country. And to him, the relevant point of his academic trails has been learning how to work as a team with his colleagues in order to achieve what he calls good results.

In our company, Bernardo is the frontman of Team Opportunity, currently partnered with Porto’s Strongstep, developing an app for the new European Data Protection guidelines. There he is creating cohesion among the members the team: “I strive every day so that my colleagues stay in harmony and our goals are fulfilled”, he tells of his role.
To the future
Bernardo is committed in pursuing a career that will make him grow — not only as an Engineer, but also as a person. “Sharing knowledge and inspiring people are undoubtedly the most gratifying things for me”, he says. Thus, he is interested in the world of pedagogy, wishing to engage with the “great and stimulating challenges that science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education will face in the coming years”.
That’s why he advises: “Do not give up on your dreams. Face all obstacles and strive every day to be better than the day before.”
