Palmira Seixas was born in Porto 36 years ago (still a young woman with only 3 Jovian years). She is currently attending the Master in Engineering Services and Management at the Faculty of Engineering of University of Porto - FEUP.

Background

Palmira officially integrates the staff of FEUP, in the service of Infoliteracia of the Library. In this important role, she offers personalized support to all who seek information. Palmira reveals that she enjoys immensely to be in direct contact with the users.

Aboard Starlight Software

Palmira is our Business Department consultant, where she works with "Total Dedication!". She also collaborates on the project for the company Strongstep, along with colleagues from the Mission Opportunity. By being in direct contact with a multidisciplinary environment, Palmira has elevated her technological knowledge and she stands out for her contributions in the creation of user stories, adding value to the whole team.

To the future

Our business consultant is the perfect example that it's always time to start over — She says, "Going back to studying after so many years has been a delightful challenge that I have managed to achieve. I want to finish my master's degree with a thesis that leaves a mark on UP's information services".

To the colleagues, she hopes that they will continue with this professional attitude and "to want to learn and to know how to do, and when they feel they are in the comfort zone, get out of it! That is the only way to evolve”.
