Diogo Torres // Team Opportunity

Diogo is studying informatics engineering at FEUP, but he is doing much more than that: he did an internship at a web development company, he monitored a computer lab course at FEUP and today he is a research assistant at Porto’s INESC-TEC.

Background

Diogo’s experience can be seen in the way he manages his time, juggling college, internships, social life — and bodybuilding. All this makes him a strong part of every team, helping the company to achieve its customer’s goals.

Aboard Starlight Software

Diogo is a developer at Team Opportunity, but he also gives a hand to our CTO: “I help in whatever I can”, he says, “contributing no only for my team, but for the company”. He brings knowledge and dedication, along with “excellent leadership and organization skills”, Diogo tells.

His background and motivation help Starlight Software get ahead. Diogo’s drive pushes teams further, while at the same time he is keeping an eye on the little bits that may fall behind (yeah, we *may* have those as well).

To the future

A successful career, an aesthetic and healthy body and kids. Diogo wants a future that allows him to help others reach their dreams. Right now he wants to complete his master’s and then head abroad for experience. He may be back to Portugal in ten years for a PhD, he predicts.

As a last advice, Diogo quotes bodybuilder Bradley Martyn: “No matter the obstacle that you go through in your life there is one thing you can be sure of… It is designed to make you better”.
