The Explorer

Gabriella Oliveira is a veteran managing big tasks. She comes from Brazil, where she has learned the tricks of the trade in some of the country’s biggest retail houses. She managed operations, flows, and fleets, dealing with hundreds of people. Now, Gabriella puts her knowledge at the service of our 40 people startup (her last job in Brazil was to manage a 400 trucks fleet, so… Yeah, she might now a thing or two about dealing with very different people).

Background

Gabriella’s background is in Mechanical Engineering at Paraíba’s Federal University. Since logistics caught her attention, she did an MBA, before crossing the ocean to join FEUP.

In our company, Gabriella helps in the construction of the documentation that supports our business. She is consulting Team Quality, finding the weaknesses and strengths of the project.

To the future

Gabriella wants to feel that what she does has a meaning. That’s why she wants to keep on studying and follow an academic career, passing on to others the incredible experience she already has.

Her advice for future explorers? Develop your soft skills. Those are the ones that will make your CV stand out.
