The Explorer

Helena Depiné was born in Santa Catarina, Brazil. She crossed the Atlantic to Porto and at 29 (or just 44 days if you count it in Venus’ calendar) is studying Business Management at Faculdade de Engenharia.

Background

Helena has a wide experience, ranging the petrochemical industry all the way to textile laboratories coordination. She is a green belt in 6 Sigma, has a MBA in Project Management and a bachelor in Chemical Engineering. But she’s more than just an academy and industry girl. She has also been a volunteer, helping a poor community learn English.

Aboard Starlight Software

At our company, explorer Helena is the CBO. As our Chief Business Officer, she works towards the understanding of products Starlight Software is developing, as well as its clients and values.

To the future

In the future she wants to work towards clients, walking into a entrepreneurial career. After the master Helena is aiming for a Phd.

And to young people out there, she leaves a piece of advice: “There is no formula or pattern for success in the job-world. Each person will have an unique experience and that is exactly what differentiates them.”
