It is highly recommended to refactor your code: it is a technique to restructure the source code, altering its internal structure without changing its external behavior. As developers, we spend 80% of our time reading and 20% writing code, thus by refactoring it we save a considerable amount of time.

Lastly, the fact that we often work with other people makes refactoring a mandatory procedure, so that others can understand our code in the least length of time.
