Software testing is a very important part of software development. It provides to the stakeholders information about the quality of the software product.

• User experience testing: tests if a UI is at least as responsive and intuitive as it was designed to be, normally tested by independent users following a guide.
• Functionality testing: tests if some feature is doing what it was designed to do, normally following a list of requirements.
• Performance & Load testing: makes sure that certain systems are able to respond with a given performance even in extreme cases with maximum load (mostly for servers).
• Compatibility testing: it tests if the software is running as expected in multiple platforms and environments.
• Test management: used to manage tests (automated or manual) that have been previously specified by a test procedure.
• Security testing: looks for security vulnerabilities in the software.
